House Rules

Please respect these times to allow for cleaning and preparation for incoming guests.

1. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the villa and on the terraces. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area and use of an ashtray for disposal of cigarette buds is mandatory. Smoking inside the house will unfortunately force us to charge you 3 additional nights as that's the minimum time required to deodorise the house. 
    

2. Parties are not allowed. 
    

3. Please treat the villa with care. Do not place your shoes on any of our in- and outdoor furniture. 
    

4. Pets are not allowed.
    

5. We welcome families with children. Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the pool, on the swing or near high places. We offer children's amenities such as a high chair, cutlery, a Deryan floor bed with mosquito net, free of charge. Please treat these items with respect. 
    

6. No glassware in or around the pool area, we provide plastic alternatives. 
    

7. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Daytime visitors must be approved in advance.
    

8. Report any damages promptly.​ We understand that accidents can happen. Carelessness or malicious intent however lead to you being charged for the item in full plus additional costs for replacing the item.
    

9. We have outdoor security cameras at Pumbas Paradise. These have been installed for your safety. By staying with us you agree that you may be recorded when entering the property. It is never our intention to record guests. 
    

10. End-of-stay cleaning is included with your reservation, we do not expect you to clean before check out. We however ask you to keep Pumbas Paradise clean and neat during your stay. In case you want every day cleaning or towel service, these can be purchased as an additional services. 
     

11. We provide a set of bath towels, pool towels and beach towels. Please only use the towels for their intended purpose (e.g. don't take our pool towels to the beach). 
     

12. (Semi-)professional photo and video recording is not allowed at Pumbas Paradise without any prior written consent. Pumbas Paradise can however be rented as a location for photo and video shoots. Please contact us for details and pricing. 
     

13. Isla Mujeres has a delicate eco-system. Therefore we ask you to:
    - not flush any toilet paper or sanitary items. Please use the bin provided.
    - not litter anywhere on the property and the rest of the island. 
    - turn off air conditioners when you leave the villa for the day and upon your check-out.
